Our History
Get Recovered Ministries was founded in Memphis as an online religious blog that supports socially disadvantaged families through programs and faith-based growth. That site getrecovered@blogspot.com has a wealth of information on it that that public may be interested in.
Since then, Get Recovered Ministries has expanded the scope of its community services to include drug prevention, HIV/AIDS education, community outreach and
has now decided to begin having regular worship services
The needs of our community seem to be growing by the day, and we have recently expanded to meet these needs. Over the years, we have learned that what people sometimes need the most is someone who will listen to their concerns - someone they can turn to for support when the going gets tough. And that's what Get Recovered Ministries is all about.

What Keeps Us Going
"We lost our home during a fire. I also lost my job and was really struggling to meet my needs. One night we went to bed hungry. The next day the ministers were at my door with several bags of groceries and a financial donation from one of its members. Without the generous support of Get Recovered Ministries and its volunteers, I don't know how we would have coped during those difficult times."
